    A spike retention list and meeting agenda will be send before each Spike Meeting.

    A Spike is a member who works to recruit new members, gets members involved and retains members. To become a Spike,  earn six credits within two consecutive membership years.

    1. Receive one Spike credit for each new member you recruit and an additional credit when that member renews on or before their anniversary date.

    2. You must earn two credits per year until you reach 25 credits to become a Life Spike.

    Help Make Kids Step Stool project for HomeShow Kids Build 

    The kit making will be on Tuesday, February 20, 5:30 PM at Chris Hensel’s shop, Dovetail Kitchen Designs.  We will be making around 170 kits.  We need a count for food, so please RSVP. 

    The easiest way is to take CR 2 north from the stop light in St. Joe. (by the holiday gas station).  Go 1 ½ miles north and take a right onto 320th st.  From there Cedar Ridge Road is ½ mile down on the right.  

    The Remodelers Council will be making the kits for the kids attending the HomeShow to build a planter!  Thanks Chris Hensel, Dovetail Kitchen Designs for organizing this and providing the materials. 

    The kids seminars will be Saturday and Sunday, March 10 & 11, 1-2 PM, St. Cloud River’s Edge Convention Center, Glenn Carlson Room

    Builder and Contractor Day at the Capitol 2018

    The 2018 Minnesota Legislative Session begins February 20, 2018 with a conclusion in May. With this short session we have a lot to cover and we invite you to join us in support of BAM's efforts to address the following items on this year's agenda.

    • Warranties, Liabilities & Contracts
    • Anticipated Mitigation & Defense

    Arrive at 11:00 AM for brunch and a more in depth discussion of the topics listed above shared with you by BAM's Executive Vice President and lobbyist, Remi Stone.

    With the briefing in mind and supporting materials in hand, you will then head over to the Minnesota State Capitol to meet with your elected legislator to discuss with him or her the BAM Board approved proactive agenda for the 2018 session.

    We would love to hear your thoughts! Join us at the end of the day from 2pm - 5pm in the Cass Gilbert Library Room 317A, Capitol Conference Room to cover what was discussed throughout the day. Snacks and beverages provided!
